BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Desert Palms Equestrian Center Horse Camp is fun and exciting for all the horse lovers! Kids will ride and learn all aspects of horse and barn care! Daily riding instruction. This includes grooming, saddling, bridling, bathing, and much more. During camp we also teach educational topics such as colors and markings, different horse breeds, parts of the horse, barn safety, and many others. Camp is based around kids learning everything they can about horses and having the most fun at it too!
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Weightloss, Horses/Equestrian, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are 6 mins from Desert Ridge Mall area right off the 101 and Tatum.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have 40 horses at our facility and lesson horses that are very safe. The camp director, Marcia Everett, is a highly recognized equine instructor accross the US. She is kind and patient with all the kids and keeps it very fun and educational for all ages!
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Desert Palms is a clean and safe environment for kids to express themselves as young equestrians. Safety is always first! We have many different horses to match each rider to ensure they can grow as riders.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We have year round camp. Please check out our website all year long. We give daily riding instruction throughout the year, have kids youth club and parties, clinics and horse shows for the kids and adults to be involved.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Looking for a horse savvy adult or teenage to help with our summer camps. Must have extensive work with horses and teaching children to ride at the beginner/intermediate level. Must be willing to work hard and be good with kids. Camps runs from 8am-1pm Mon- Fri. Camp dates are: May 28-Jun1, Jun 11-15, Jun 18-22, june 25-29 and July 16-20.
