BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Forest Grove High School is offering a great opportunity for all athletes to develop under some of the best technicians in the country. This three-day camp will cover all aspects of wrestling, for beginners and advanced wrestlers. Clinicians will teach tactical skills in the neutral, top, and bottom positions. Campers should expect the highest level of professionalism, integrity and respect from each of our clinicians and from the Forest Grove community.

JAY BORSCHEL:
Coach and Owner of The Wrestling Lab, was an Assistant Coach for 2 seasons (2013-15) at Northwestern University (D1) where he coached 1 NCAA Champion, 3 Finalists, 7 All-Americans and 17 Qualifiers.
University of Iowa 2005-2010: 2010 NCAA and Big Ten Champion. 2010 Iowa Male Athlete Of the Year. 2x All-American and 3x NCAA Qualifier. Placed 3rd at Big Ten Championships in 2008 and 2009. Posted a 98-10 career record at 174 pounds. Went 22-2 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. 3x Academic All-Big Ten Honoree. 2x NWCA All-Academic Team Member. Scored 265 team points in dual competition. Transferred from Virginia Tech University after the 2005-06 season. Was a member of 3 NCAA and Big Ten Champion Iowa teams.
Marion, IA: Prep career record of 163-1 with 95 pins included 3 undefeated seasons. Won state titles at 4 different weight classes (103-freshman, 125-sophmore, 152-junior, 171-senior), which marks the greatest span of weight classes covered by any of Iowa's 4x State Champions.

Head Coach at Forest Grove High School, Has coached 1 NCAA DIII Champion, 2 NCAA DIII All-Americans, 5 High School State Champions and 20+ State Placewinners over the past 5 seasons.
University of Iowa 2005-2010: 2x NCAA Qualifier at 197 pounds. Placed 4th in 2009 and 6th in 2010 at Big Ten Championships. Posted a 50-25 career record. Was a member of 3 NCAA and Big Ten Champion Iowa teams. Placed 3rd at Midlands Championships 2010. 2x Mike J. McGivern Award Winner, which is annually presented to the team's most courageous wrestler. 2006 JR. FILA Freestyle National Champion at 84kg.
Wilton, IA: Prep career record of 109-7 included 2 undefeated seasons and 45 pins. 2x State Champion at 171 pounds. 3x State Placewinner (5th, 1st, 1st).
JACK HATHAWAY:
Oregon State University 2014-Present: Finished 1st varsity season at 27-12, with team-leading 12 pins. Pac-12 Champion and NCAA Qualifier at 133 pounds. His 12 pins ranks 4th All-Time for OSU Freshmen.
Iowa City, IA: Prep career record 200-16. State Champion. 4x State Placewinner (3rd, 3rd, 1st, 3rd). Runner-Up at FILA Jr. Multiple-Time All-American at Cadet and Junior levels.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Camper Dues: $100 per athlete
Sibling Discount: $90 per athlete
Team Discount: $80 per athlete (if you bring 10 athletes)
There will be 3 sessions; one each day from 8:00AM-12:15PM. An optional personal technique session* will be held each afternoon from 12:30PM-2:00PM (additional $75 per camper).
*What are personalized technique sessions? These are designed to give aspiring athletes added and personalized training without the distraction of other campers. This allows our clinicians to individualize each workout, ensuring higher reps and more hands-on training with a top-level clinician.
